Then, press the HotSync button to connect to your desktop PC by phone line. The remote HotSync feature of the PalmModem Accessory allows you to send and receive data from your Palm Computing organizer to desktop applications - including e-mail.It's great for keeping up with e-mail from the road. Just download new messages to read on your organizer, compose replies, and synchronize again when you're ready to send them. You can even use the modem with a variety of communications applications developed especially for PalmPilot and Palm III series of organizers. The modem runs on two AAA batteries.
