The PenPlus II was introduced to the U.S. market in 1991 as a low cost solution for the thousands of small merchants who are still using manual imprinters. The printer has been successful due to it's low cost of ownership, ease of operation and remarkably low rate of repair. For merchants who want a small, quick, quiet, low cost printer, PenPlus II is the one. The printer use a DIN connector, it does not use a standard DB9 or DB25 style connector.
