The Checkmate CMR430 check reader is a payment automation device that reads the MICR (Magnetic Ink Character Recognition) information on checks. This device enhances your customer's buying experience while reducing your risks from fraudulent and poorley printed checks.
The CMR430 check reader is a motorized unit capable of RS232 communication and Keyboard, MSR or Scanner emulations. The Reader can also communicate RS485 (for IBM 46xx cash registers only), and can wedge the keyboard on the IBM 4680 series of cash registers.
